Multilingual hotel chat & 38 UI languages

Guests write in their language; staff reply in yours. AI translation on successful cross-language messages, billed separately from the annual subscription.

Multilingual hotel chat & interface languages

QRFront separates interface language (what buttons and menus show) from AI translation (what happens when guest and staff write in different languages).

38 UI languages

Admin, guest portal, and staff mobile screens can follow the guest or operator UI locale among 38 supported languages. This helps foreign guests navigate Wi-Fi copy, request forms, and chat chrome without calling the desk for every tap.

AI translation for chat

When a guest message and staff reply are in different languages, QRFront can translate via the configured AI engine (NVIDIA Riva for many pairs, GPT fallback for additional languages). Same-language messages do not consume translation tokens.

Translation is billed separately from the annual QRFront Service subscription:

  • Service covers guest portal, front desk, QR print, and core operations by room count.
  • Token packs cover estimated translation volume (see the pricing calculator).

New hotels receive free AI tokens at signup to test multilingual chat with real guests.

Practical front-desk workflow

  1. Guest scans room QR and writes in their language.
  2. Front desk sees the thread on the live board.
  3. Staff reply in the hotel language; guest reads the translation in the portal.
  4. Housekeeping or runners continue the thread from staff mobile if needed.

Honest limits

  • UI language count (38) and AI translation language coverage (28 engine languages) are not the same number — we publish both openly.
  • Translation quality depends on language pair and message length; profanity and safety filters apply per platform policy.
