Hotel guest QR portal — no app, no login

In-room QR opens Wi-Fi copy, amenity requests, facility info, and front-desk chat in the mobile browser. Built for hotels, motels, and Airbnb hosts.

Hotel guest QR portal

QRFront gives every room a web portal that opens when a guest scans the in-room QR code with their phone camera. No App Store download, no guest account, and no front-desk login handoff.

What guests can do from the room QR

  • Copy Wi-Fi — SSID and password in one tap instead of typing on a plastic card.
  • Request amenities — towels, cleaning, supplies, or maintenance from a structured form tied to the room number.
  • Read hotel info — facilities, policies, and local guidance you configure in the admin console.
  • Chat with the front desk — real-time messaging in the browser; staff reply from the live board or staff mobile web.

Because everything runs in the mobile browser, foreign guests use the same flow as domestic guests. The portal UI supports 38 languages; AI translation for chat is available when languages differ.

Why operators choose QR over a guest app

Guest appIn-room QR portal
App Store friction & updatesCamera scan → instant browser session
Per-guest login or hotel codeRoom QR binds the session automatically
Separate iOS/Android roadmapsOne web experience on every smartphone
Higher build & maintenance costPrint cards + annual room-count subscription

QRFront is not a PMS replacement. It handles guest-facing services and front-desk operations without a multi-month integration project.

Session and privacy basics

Each room QR starts a room-scoped session. After check-in time (for example 15:00), a new scan can roll the session for the next guest. Chat records are retained on the server for audit, then deleted after 30 days as described in the privacy policy.

Guests do not create QRFront accounts. Hotel managers use admin login; floor staff use a separate invite-QR flow on their phones.

Get started

  1. Add floors and rooms in the admin dashboard.
  2. Print QR cards from QR Management & Print.
  3. Place cards where guests can scan easily (bedside, desk, or back of door).
  4. Open the live demo or start a one-month free trial to see the guest portal and front desk together.
