FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to the questions hotels ask before adopting QRFront.

Q.Do we need complex integration with our existing hotel systems?
No integration required. QRFront is a smart room web solution that works on its own—no complex hotel-system linking. The server handles automatic session rollover at check-in time (e.g. 15:00), so staff have no extra integration burden.
Q.Do guests need to install an app or sign up?
No. Scanning the in-room QR with the phone camera opens the portal immediately—no download or login.
Q.After a guest checks out, can the next guest see prior chats?
Never. After the new guest's check-in time (e.g. 15:00), a new device scanning the QR immediately invalidates the previous session and starts a new one. Past chats are kept only in the server DB for audit. All records are deleted from the server after 30 days. (Exception: if another companion's device first scans the QR after check-in during an extended stay, it is treated as a new guest and the previous session is immediately invalidated. Service use is unaffected.)
Q.Can multiple devices in the same room connect?
Yes. Before checkout, every device that scans the same room QR safely shares the same room session—requests and chat stay in sync.
Q.What happens when AI translation credits run out?
Same-language chats use zero credits. Only successful AI translations deduct actual usage. If credits run out, translation pauses until you buy more (10M packs) in admin billing. AI translation is billed separately from the annual QRFront Service subscription.
Q.Can we batch-create rooms even with missing numbers like 404/405?
Yes. In Floor/Room admin, enter excluded numbers (e.g. 404, 405) and the rest of the rooms and QR codes generate in about a second.
Q.Is AI chat translation always accurate?
It works well for everyday guest communication, but AI is not perfect. Occasional awkward phrasing or mistranslations can happen, and temporary translation disruptions can occur depending on network or model availability. For payments, safety, or other critical instructions, have staff double-check alongside the original text.
